Our Authentic Relating Games are designed to create connection and intimacy while having fun and trying something new. Here is how that might occur.
-- Sitting down with a complete stranger for five minutes and walking away like they're family.
-- Hearing from others how they experience you, in real-time.
-- Finding out what you really want, and saying it.
If any of that sounds scary, we've got you covered: None of our activities are compulsory, and whichever "you" wants to show up is welcome. There's no right or wrong way to play, and the games are designed to keep you in charge of your own experience (no peer pressure!). By experiencing these “games” within a container of agreements, we increase the likelihood for each of us to experience life with more texture and aliveness. Getting real, being real and feeling authentically connection to others can nourish a deep hunger, while being a lot of fun.
Your first night is ONLY $5! After that, we ask for a $10-20, which goes to rent, snacks, and our highly skilled and committed facilitators. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. *CASH ONLY, PLEASE.

Facilitators
Zach is a lead facilitator and facilitator trainer who enjoys creating a space of self-exploration that primarily focuses on cultivating interpersonal skills. He has a laidback, playful leadership style balanced by a desire to hold space for whatever depth arises. In leading games in many different areas of life such as schools, businesses, festivals, summer camps, and leadership workshops, he has learned how to embrace what is real in any moment and have that be where we connect.
He is a practicing Life Coach in the Houston area, a massage therapist, and a regular facilitator at NiaMoves on Sunday evenings. |
Sky is a lead facilitator for Authentic Houston and a relationship coach. She is also a painter, poet, thai massage therapist, yoga instructor, and dance enthusiast. For Sky, finding the Authentic Houston community over a year ago felt like coming home. The conscious communication skills she’s developed through these practices have refined her self-awareness, self-compassion, and revealing for the purpose of fostering and celebrating connection. She is more welcoming of “what is” and is capable of holding more space for curiosity and cultivating positive regard inside of dissonance. She feels enlivened around the agency to show up exactly as she is and facilitate themes that are potent to her from a heart-centered place. The flavor of her Games Nights typically include embodiment and theme-driven experiences. We are all collaborative life artists. The unknowable space in the other and their intentions colors the canvas of connection.

Kylie Sivley is a facilitator who enjoys creating space for participants to dive into deeper themes that feel alive in her current reality (i.e. shadow, talent, purpose, passion.) She enjoys facilitating core personal truth sharing games to explore the breadth and depth of a particular topic. She feels grateful to finally have a welcoming space and community to freely be and lead others in a powerful co-experience on Sunday nights at Nia Moves.
She is a freelance artist as well as an elementary gifted and talented Art teacher for UHCL and CCISD. You can also catch her teaching adult and children classes at the Painting with a Twist in Friendswood on the weekends! |
Britt Vasicek is a facilitator who brings her own entertainment and education experience to games night as well as the Authentic Community. Her flavor is playful and explores the boundaries of what it means to express self. She is Co-Owner of Sunflowers Lab, an emotional education resource in Houston as well as the producer of Poly Wanna Podcast: A Polyamory Podcast and the iconic Sell Your Body Show.

Danny Dyer is naturally drawn to explore authenticity and connection in his adult life. That’s just how his heart seems to express itself. Since his first time practicing Authentic Relating at a Facilitator training two years ago, he has witnessed himself grow and learn about how to be his very best human. He is a regular part of the scene of games nights, and facilitates periodically; he is known for sharing fantastic hugs, deep compassion, and unconditional positive regard with others.
These days, his facilitation style is full of intentionality, support, and peace-making. He loves practicing mindfulness, checking his assumptions, and sharing impactful understanding. He aspires towards life-coaching as a discipline, and is driven by fulfillment. In his most contented form, he takes creative action daily, exists in healthy, honest, complete integrity with himself, and always lets the beautiful part of ‘what is’ happen without attachment to ‘what used to or should be.’ |
