Lisa DeLand, certified by Gabrielle Roth to teach the 5Rhythms®, is a committed student of both life and movement. Her teaching is infused with heart, humor, compassion, and trust for the people, the process, and the outcome. Dancing the Rhythms since 1994, teaching since 2007, Lisa offers weekly classes, workshops, and private sessions.
Lisa DeLand came to the 5Rhythms® practice in 1994 and was certified to teach in 2007 by Gabrielle Roth. Lisa currently offers a weekly reset class in Austin and Step Into Yes! a monthly women’s collaborative event, the 1st Saturday of the month. Lisa subs and facilities at larger Austin ecstatic and conscious dance events as well as offers private sessions. Lisa’s teaching style is deeply rooted in curiosity, clarity, compassion, and lightly dusted with humor. She’s been coming to Houston monthly to offer the 5Rhythms at NiaMoves since September 2010.
